The Harry Potter books are some of the most popular books of all time, and this means there are lots of editions to choose from! Including some very fancy ones.
If you are anything like me, you will have several non-matching Harry Potter books that were bought at different times and from different places. This list is partly me planning out my dream library of the future and partly wanting to share all the amazing Harry Potter books I have come across on the Internet!

Harry Potter Collections and Box Sets
1. Harry Potter Hard Cover Limited Edition Box Set
This beautiful hard cover set of Harry Potter books comes in its very own magical chest! These are high quality, hard cover books. A great option if you love re-reading Harry Potter over and over again (like I do).
The chest is made of cardboard, so you probably don’t want to be taking it on the Hogwarts Express or anything, but it will look amazing on your bookshelf!
This box set contains the first three Harry Potter books in the Illustrated Collection. The artwork in these books is amazing, and all done by the talented artist Jim Kay.
So far only the first four Harry Potter books have been released in illustrated editions, and this set has the first three. You will need to buy Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire separately.
These are my favourite versions of the Harry Potter books. The artwork is so magical, and much closer to how I picture the characters in my mind.
Are you a brave Gryffindor, a hard working Hufflepuff, a wise Ravenclaw, or an ambitious Slytherin? I’m a Ravenclaw with a touch of Slytherin, but I love all these covers, and I’m not sure what one I would actually pick.

If you are looking for a set of all seven books and want something that stands out, this could be the set for you. This is also a more affordable option than the hardcovers and much easier to carry!
This is the ultimate level of luxury for Harry Potter books! These are hand crafted, natural leather covers made by Velimira Books, and you can find them for sale on Etsy.
The covers are made from soft lambskin and feature convex details and antique bronze acrylic painting. They also come with a leather bookmark with pendant. There are different colours of leather you can choose from when you order.
This could make the ultimate gift for the Potterhead in your life, or something to save up for and proudly display on your bookshelf. But be warned, luxury comes with a high price!
I’m not sure what makes these an adult edition. Maybe you feel more grown up reading them? I’m not sure. Whatever the case, there is no denying that these covers are amazing.

Harry Potter Special Edition Books and Collectors Books

14. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child- House Editions
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the published script of the award-winning play. The story is set 19 years in the future and follows Harry’s youngest son, Albus, as he starts his Hogwarts journey.

The book jackets look like old tomes you might find in the Hogwarts Library. I’d really like these spines in my bookshelf!

My personal favourite is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I love the detailed descriptions of all the weird and wonderful magical creatures.
